Do you want to be responsible for designing, managing and servicing the systems used by our staff and teams globally? From design and implementation through maintenance and improvement all the way to decommissioning. You and your team’s solutions are one of the cornerstones for the Play´n GO Group and continuous improvement is key for future growth.

You will oversee and develop our infrastructure team and our internal Service Desk including their respective team-leads who report directly to you. Provide a vision for how internal systems and applications can be used to help support our staff globally in their day to day work.

The infrastructure team also supports our Operations team, with both solutions and 3rd Level support. Operations team is responsible for our production environments through which we deliver the very best games and features on the market.

Your teams are distributed on our different offices, why remote management is a part of your workday. Regardless of where you will be based, the position will require travelling. You will report to our CEO.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Expand and develop our technical strategy and requirements.
  • Define the technical/architectural roadmap, aligned to our technical strategy and requirements, and manage the delivery of said roadmap. 
  • Provide an awesome ServiceDesk to our internal clients by developing and deliver on a strategy together with the ServiceDesk Team Leader. 
  • A vision and roadmap for how internal systems should evolve and grow to deliver greater levels of efficiency and automation. 
  • Working with key stakeholders across internal teams to improve adoption in existing systems to drive further innovation and improvement. Be an Ambassador!
  • Responsible for internal infrastructure, including servers, networking, end user computing
  • Provide effective and inspiring leadership by being actively involved in the team’s and their responsibility areas. 
  • Responsible for budget related to internal systems and infrastructure, including Procurement and Licensing.

Skills and experience: 

  • Experience managing technical IT teams, preferably where teams are spread out over multiple countries.
  • Experience in Cloudservices (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and Cloud base services/SaaS applications (AzureAD, O365, Dynamics and similar)
  • Experience in systems innovation and in increasing adoption rates usage across IT systems 
  • Experience in providing IT services and support to end users 
  • Experience of working in a development and innovation focused environment
  • Experience negotiating contracts, licenses and support
  • Strong leadership skills
